Once upon a Time (Feature film script in development)
A modern fairy tale set in a remote Italian village. Two strangers arrive at a village just when the landowner is burying his stepmother. Her will is read out decreeing that the estate will go to her own son unless the landowner and his wife produce a child within a year and a day.

A feature length documentary about the filmmaker’s grandfather, Richard Wilhelm, the first person to translate the ancient Chinese text, the I Ching, into a foreign language and thus to make it available to the Western world. The story follows the filmmaker as she retraces her grandfather’s steps to China as a missionary during a turbulent and fascinating period of history, stretching from the Great War through the Boxer rebellion and the Japanese invasion of China to the rise of Naziism in Germany. Wilhelm’s work had a profound influence on many Western thinkers, for example C.G.Jung, and is still highly regarded today.
